It seems these days that I have fallen off the face of the earth. School has been consuming all of my time and I feel like it has been quite a while since I have even typed into the browser www.wordpress.com. And indeed it has.

I am on spring break! which is why I sit before you know writing this blog. I have been compiling a list of topics that I have been wanting to write about so that when this time came, I would be able to catch up on what I have been meaning to do for a while now.

First, of course, is The Bachelor. We all now know who Jake picked: Vienna. Jakes seems to really be happy so I really do not have much to say about the finale. I was just sad to see Tenley go, but she had so much class with the way that she left. Jason and Molly’s wedding was fabulous! I love them together and their wedding was so beautiful…it gave me lots of new and wonderful ideas for when my big day comes! Lastly, I am really excited for Ali to be the new bachelorette! She will be fantastic and I am awaiting May to come around so that I can fill my Mondays with the bachelorette once again.

On my spring break I have many things planned:

1. read recreationally. I have many books that I have been wanting to read, including one that I have been in the middle of since January.

2. Sleep. I have been rather sleep deprived these last few weeks and it will be fabulous to catch up.

3. Blog! Like I said before, I have several topics that I have been wanting to share and I am excited I finally get to get back into a blogging groove (if I was ever in one).

It feels great to be back and I will keep up on here for as long as I can. Once spring break is over I may fall of the face of the planet again, but come summer, I will return!

Have a great day!

I am feeling good today! I have accomplished a lot of things and my stress level seems to be falling at a steady pace. I came home last night so that I could get some things that I left here, color my mom’s hair, do some laundry, and ditch my printer (which brings be to my day yesterday):

Since I have moved in, I have been trying to set up my printer. After 3 days, it still is not working. I tried EVERYTHING and everytime I would install it it would say the printer was ready and then when I tried to print something, my computer said that it was not connected to the printer. My tolerance of this started to boil over after reinstalling it about 10 times. So I had the boyfriend come over and check it out because he is very tech savy. He couldn’t figure it out either. So we decided to just google the error message that we were getting and came to find out that it was a vista problem (doy, I had a hunch that was the problem). So I was frustrated that vista had disappointed again and worried about what I was going to do about a printer. I read some solutions and appearantly there is some sort of driver that you can install to fix the problem. After trying to install this driver, I got a message from my antivirus saying that I had 3 high threat infections. Great. I scanned my computer and got everything cleaned out. Luckily there was no virus but it was too close of a call. So I decide just to bring my worthless-to-vista-printer home and figure something out. I then realized that I had purchased a pack of ink for this printer that cost me 50 bones. I took that back and then proceeded to pay 25 extra dollars for a vista compatable printer. So I finally got a printer that works and I do not have a virus.

In other news, I was looking for a curtain to put in my closet to cover it up. I just bought a sheet and transformed it into a curtain. So for 13 dollars, viola! I have a curtain that looks amazing! I am thrilled.

Today I have to attend dance practice for my cousin’s wedding. After this, I can return to school and get sleep for my first day of classes tomorrow! WOOOO!

I am a High School Musical lover and this song makes me happy. Even if you’re not an HSM fan, you should still watch it, enjoy!

I am just sitting here listening to my new music, eating some dinner, and enjoying a quiet evening. I had a fabulous weekend going to a wedding, hanging out with the boyfriend (who is on his way over here right now with some skinny cows, yum!), and getting to see my sister and her kiddies. This time by myself and this wonderful music is just allowing me to reflect on the things that are happening in my life right now and I am so fortunate! First of all, I have the greatest best friend ever (Kimmi), an amazing family, and a wonderful boyfriend. However, I think that I am most fortunate because I get to go to nursing school in the fall (woohoo!) and I cannot wait to move! My room is just filling up with things that I am taking with me and as more things on the dorm room wish list get crossed off, I think of more things I need and want. I will definitely be posting pictures on here when I get settled but it is pretty much going to be amazing!

Also, I have been sewing like a maniac so I will be posting some pictures of my finished projects soon as well as pictures from all of my vacations this summer; I still have 2 more coming! I have a lot of drafts as well, I am terrible, so more exciting posts will be coming…I promise!
