No, not McDonalds. I am loving the song Somewhere We Only Know by Keane more than anything right now! I was inspired to purchase it after watching He’s Just Not That Into You last week and I cannot get enough of it.

School is pretty crazy right now, trying to do a class in four weeks is a very big commitment; it is like having a full load of classes. I only have 2 weeks left and I cannot wait to get back to nursing classes.

A couple of other things that I have been meaning to say:

1. Fanny Packs should be bannished. It disturbs and frustrates me when I see people wearing them, please stop trying to bring them back into style, they will never make it.  I saw a girl at a basketball game yesterday wearing one and she was really trying hard to make a fashion statement with it and I just really wanted to ask her to take it off and burn it…it may seem harsh but they bother me.

2. Congratulations Cindy on your new baby boy!  I cannot wait to meet him!

3. I am so thankful that it is a 3 day weekend. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

I will leave you will the video for Somewhere We Only Know…unfortunately, it cuts the end of the song off(what can you do?) ENJOY!

…that is how I feel about life right now. I have been having a wonderful week and I hope that all of you are too! Things have been busy, hence the no blog writing, but I just wanted to write a note to let you know that I am alive an things are better than ever. Some things that are making me love life right now:

1. I had a project in my religion class that was due tomorrow and it got extended to Tuesday
2. Adjustments are being made to the syllabus in my anthropology class so we don’t have any reading until Wednesday of next week
3. Our nursing uniforms arrived today
4. It is almost the weekend
5. I got the results of two tests that I took last week and I got an A and a B

Things are going so well and I love school.
I also love this boy

These are the beautiful little feet of my new nephew! I am so proud of my sister for having her second perfect baby! He is adorable and his name is Hudson Arthur. He is 8 lbs 4 oz  and 20 1/2 inches long. He is perfect in everyway and I couldn’t be more happy! (I think he knew I was taking a picture and he wasn’t very happy that his feet were exposed. 🙂 )

I have been quilting like a maniac and I really wanted everyone to be able to see how all of them turned out. Some of these are older and some are quite new…

This is my first quilt and I made it for myself. This is the front of the quilt.

This quilt I made for my cousin and her baby girl. It is kind of a bummer because she didn’t find out whether she was having a boy or a girl so we had to make it somewhat gender neutral. The back is the same as the front.

Close up of the pattern. This was taken before it was finished, it has lime green bias around the edges.

This quilt I made for my sister and her new baby. They are having a boy and they have a Seahawks theme. This one is my favorite.

The back is plain red.

I also made a quilt for my boyfriend’s sister that is amazing… I need to get a picture of it though.

There are more in the making…stay tuned!
