This week on The Bachelor was quite an eventful one, with not as much drama. I loved the hometown dates and the families were all pretty normal, which I think may be a first. My favorite hometown was probably Tenley’s. He was sooo awesome with her family and it was really sweet how much they connected with him. My least favorite, if you can guess, was Vienna’s; although I though that it was comical because it was very different from the rest of them. The dog, I must say, was ridiculous. I was really sad about Ali leaving, I really like her and I was shocked by the fact that she acutally left because of how much he was asking her stay….That would be a really hard decision to make, though. Personally I think that I would have stayed. Although it was sad, it was also really admirable of her because sometimes people come on these shows and they just throw themselves at the bachelor/bachelorette and it seems they will do anything. She will find someone eventually though, she seems like a really likeable girl who can meet people easily. I think this may be my shortest review yet…It is hard to remember what happened on the episodes when you procrastinate.

On sort of that same note, my head feels like it is going to explode. Spring semester is in full swing on only the second day and I am feeling very overwhelmed. Luckily I have a nice long five day weekend, which should give me a good amount of time to get caught up on the amazing amount of work that I have to do before next Wednesday.

In other news, I am super excited for a dance audition that I will be attending on Friday! I have not danced in so long and it is going to be really nice to get out there and do it again. It is just for fun for a show that PLU has in April. I am really looking forward to it and I will most definitely let you know how it goes.

Lastly, I am sorry that I have not posted any book reviews yet. Last week I finished another book and I am half way though another one (so I owe you a few reviews)! No worries though, I will try to find some time this weekend and hopefully I can inspire someone out there to read the wonderful books I have been enjoying lately! I hope that everyone has a great ending to their week!

I just returned from my class and I am tired! 3 hours is a very long time to sit in a class room but I made it through! Today was rather boring because we mainly discussed the nitty gritty stuff about the class but I think that the topics we are assigned to read should be really intriguing. I have to work this afternoon and I am really looking forward to seeing the kids.

In other news, I have been obsessed with the music that I recently purchased. I bought the Joshua Radin CD Simple Times and the Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson CD Break Up. They are both outstanding and I cannot get enough! I also bought some Miley Cyrus jams, which I have really enjoyed rocking out to. I bought the Kings of Leon song Use Somebody and I think that I will buy the entire CD. The more I think about it, the more I think that I really like them.

On last thing…I watched Julie and Julia last week and I loved it! I love Amy Adams and Meryl Streep, they were both fantastic in their roles and it really made me want to blog! A thought: why is that in movies women always have 3 girlfriends that they go to lunch with? Who really has 3 friends that do everything together? I don’t buy it.

Anywho, this post was rather scattered but I feel like it is quality. Have a wonderful day!

Tonight was the season premiere of The Bachelor and the network is now calling it “The Bachelor On the Wings of Love”. I have to disagree. I was a bit skeptical of their decision to cast Jake as the new bachelor and I am still unsure of how this season is going to turn out but I am a little disappointed in the women that were picked for the show. I was sad that the only 2 girls that I liked were sent home, and they were both pilots, which I found interesting. I just wanted to write a little bit about my impressions of the show and find out if the avid watchers out there agree. Mostly I am just procrastinating unpacking my stuff from home. I have returned to school and tomorrow is the first day of J-term, which should be interesting. I am taking a philosophy class that I have previously stated as a class that I do not need to take. It is philosophy of creation and evolution which I think will be pretty entertaining none the less. Since I am only taking one class and only working two days a week, I am hoping that I will have some time for recreational reading. I know that once spring semester starts, pathophysiology will be life, as I plan to start studying for it before the term even starts (it is reputably the hardest class in nursing school at PLU). I received some books for Christmas and I have a couple of books that I have had for quite some time that I have been wanting to read. The books I would like to read by the end of January are as follows:
1. Goodnight Nobody by Jennifer Weiner. I am about half-way finished with this book and I am loving it.
2. Catching fire by Suzanne Collins. This is the sequel to the Hunger Games and I have been waiting for the time to read this book.
3. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford. My sister gave me this book for Christmas and she said that it was really good so I am also looking forward to this one.
4. Last but certainly not least, Love the One You’re With by Emily Griffin. This is the same author as Something Borrowed and Something Blue, which I really enjoyed so I am hoping this book will be great as well.
That is a lot to accomplish in four weeks but I think that I can do it. I plan to update you on my progress and give you a review of the books and what I thought of them.
I have so many things that I want to write about from my break but that will have to wait for another day (hopefully tomorrow) along with a report on how my first day back to reality went. Right now I need to get my booty motivated and finish unpacking…7:30 is going to come early tomorrow morning.

NOT. I am trying to write a paper right now for my religion class. The assignment for the paper is to make an argument about the way that Mark 1 portrays Jesus as a miracle worker. After about an hour and a half of reading over texts and browsing online, I have nothing. So here I am, writing a blog.

School is going really well. I love all of my classes and I am meeting lots of new and wonderful people. Although I have several aquantances, I would say I have 2.5 friends. The .5 is because this person is between an aquantance and a friend. Life is good.

I also got a job! It is for the boys and girls club. I am really excited to start. I could have had this job two weeks ago (it was my first interview) but I wanted something a little closer to campus so I decided to keep looking. After much dissapointment, I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I decided I shouldn’t be picky and greedy and I should be thankful for the job that I was offered so I called and told them I wanted to accept their offer. I went today to fill out some paperwork and I am going to start next week!

In other news, I donated blood yesterday. I was really excited because it was my first time donating. All was going well and I was relaxed and thinking about school when the girl next to me finshed up and was packing her things up. When people were walking through the aisle where the donations were happening, the nurses were telling people to watch the arms and make sure you don’t bump into them. They did not remind this girl. As she slung her bag over her shoulder and whipped around, her bag hit me right in the arm that had a huge needle sticking out of. It was painful. I didn’t say anything though and I just thought bitter thoughts about her carelessness and how oblivious she was to it even hitting me. Other than that the experience was awesome and I got a super cool shirt for it too!

One last note…You may know that I am a fan of Twilight and New Moon is coming out in November. They just released a new trailer that is amazing. I suggest you watch it.

Have a great day!

I am feeling good today! I have accomplished a lot of things and my stress level seems to be falling at a steady pace. I came home last night so that I could get some things that I left here, color my mom’s hair, do some laundry, and ditch my printer (which brings be to my day yesterday):

Since I have moved in, I have been trying to set up my printer. After 3 days, it still is not working. I tried EVERYTHING and everytime I would install it it would say the printer was ready and then when I tried to print something, my computer said that it was not connected to the printer. My tolerance of this started to boil over after reinstalling it about 10 times. So I had the boyfriend come over and check it out because he is very tech savy. He couldn’t figure it out either. So we decided to just google the error message that we were getting and came to find out that it was a vista problem (doy, I had a hunch that was the problem). So I was frustrated that vista had disappointed again and worried about what I was going to do about a printer. I read some solutions and appearantly there is some sort of driver that you can install to fix the problem. After trying to install this driver, I got a message from my antivirus saying that I had 3 high threat infections. Great. I scanned my computer and got everything cleaned out. Luckily there was no virus but it was too close of a call. So I decide just to bring my worthless-to-vista-printer home and figure something out. I then realized that I had purchased a pack of ink for this printer that cost me 50 bones. I took that back and then proceeded to pay 25 extra dollars for a vista compatable printer. So I finally got a printer that works and I do not have a virus.

In other news, I was looking for a curtain to put in my closet to cover it up. I just bought a sheet and transformed it into a curtain. So for 13 dollars, viola! I have a curtain that looks amazing! I am thrilled.

Today I have to attend dance practice for my cousin’s wedding. After this, I can return to school and get sleep for my first day of classes tomorrow! WOOOO!

I am a High School Musical lover and this song makes me happy. Even if you’re not an HSM fan, you should still watch it, enjoy!
